Bamboy Aka Tushar Adhav

BamBoy is an experimental & World Music Producer/DJ from the streets of Parel. Started off in 2015 with a track called ‘Mool Mantra’ in collaboration with a Mumbai based rapper OZ and a female singer having a voice of balance named Bhagyashri Malap. His sonic themes represent things that are happening around the streets & nature. Tushar also produces bass music under the stage name ‘LeftOut’. BamBoy recently dropped his track ‘Parvati’ on Nrtya which has got him flowing around the scene.

RaakshaS Aka Abhishek Shindolkar

‘RaakshaS’ is a music producer/beatmaker. He started off as a cinematographer for Swadesi, shooting stills and videos for the crew, ‘Laaz waatte kay’ being one of them. Eventually, music production became his sole area of interest and expertise, which resulted in the making of ‘The Warli Revolt’, four tracks for the album ‘Chaitavani’ and ‘Project Mukabala’ for Sajid Wajid Shaikh to name a few. Abhishek is also an artist; abstract and psychedelic art happen to be his forte.

Maharya Aka Yash Mahida

A 22 year old rapper/lyricist from Mumbai. He has been writing and performing rap since 2010. Maharya writes and performs in Hindi and Bengali. He usually talks about what is happening in society, his observations, experiences and possible solutions. “ I personally like playing with the rhythm and flow in rap.”

100RBH Aka Saurabh Abhyankar

100RBH is a 23 year old rapper and dancer from Amravati district of Maharashtra. His first rap was the Amavati Rap which he released in 2014. He lived with his mother, two brothers and a drunkard father. As a kid he grew up listening to revolutionary songs of Babasaheb Ambedkar and peace promoting songs of Buddha. The atmosphere of the house was always difficult and “till std 8 I never had time to think about my future, but dancing was something that I really enjoyed” he says.

Mc Tod Fod Aka Dharmesh Parmar

Tod Fod is a Gujarati/Hindi rapper from Mumbai and has lived his whole life in Naigoan in Dadar and grew up on a steady diet of old Bollywood songs, bhajans and bhim geet. “I spent my childhood renting a cycle at four rupees an hour and just riding around.” His introduction to rap came through watching videos on Vh1, but his true education began when he met MC Mawali and the Swadesi crew a couple of years ago.

Mc Mawali Aka Aklesh Sutar

Mawali is one of the co-founders of Swadesi, he released his first protest rap ‘Laaj Watte Kai’ in 2014. At 25 with hair like the roots of a banyan, a 2Pac tattoo peeking from under a wristband, he says, “People who have spent time in nature have understood life differently. I was born in Kolhapur, a proper village, and I lived there for two years. So, my basic conditioning is of the village.
